Databases and filing systems

Databases provide the relational tools to allow the tracking of vasts amounts of information. Using Access or a similar database this module teaches the fundamentals of databases including:

Tables

	Fields, field types and properties
	Validation rules
	Adding, deleting and updating records
	Table relationships

Queries

	Select, update, delete and append queries
	Searching for data
	Modifying database structure
	Reporting tools
	Printing
